We fell so in love with Wilderness, its natural beauty, peaceful surroundings and that feeling of being completely away from it all that we created a place where couples could slow down, reconnect and enjoy a romantic escape without having to give up the comforts of home.

Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to make your stay feel special. From fluffy robes and buttery-soft blankets to cosy evenings watching movies in bed, this is a space designed for relaxing, unwinding and simply enjoying each other’s company. Step into the double shower and open the doors to a tranquil water feature, where the gentle sound of running water makes it easy to forget about the outside world.

Our fully equipped kitchen gives you the freedom to prepare a lazy breakfast or a romantic dinner together, while the outdoor braai is perfect for those long, relaxed evenings under the stars. Wilderness is right on your doorstep, with beautiful beaches, forests, lakes and plenty of places to discover.

Our favourite part of Wish You Were Here is the outdoor space. Take a swing overlooking the beautiful Island Lake, wander down to your private deck tucked away amongst the bushes, and settle into the recliners with a glass of something cold. Soak in the hot tub, breathe in the fresh Wilderness air and take in the view. There’s nowhere else you need to be.
